Hi!
I need to use this AWESOME tool for .mxf videos from Canon C300 and P2 cameras.
Do I need to install a special codec or something for this??

Also, anyone know if the Mac version is being developed?? Many colleagues are dying for it!

Many thanks in advance!!

Hi.
Actually Crystal engine is able to process MXF files.
BUT currently the program has not *.MXF extension in the list of available extensions (it was replaced by M2TS extension in VTM v6.3.0.0).
So you can not add that kind of files to the program.
BUT i have tried to rename MXF to AVI and... it works.

Hope, I have found a temporary solution for you ;)
And it looks like I need to add MXF extension back to the program.

thanks SO much!! it does work :)
... I'm just a little scared to corrupt the files for the later editing :-/
and also, I have so many files (it's my documentary final project for school) I actually found this great tool looking for a batch action possibility, but then I would have to change the extension to .avi one by one

Will you be adding the .mxf extension back to the program any time soon?? Maybe I can wait

And what about the Mac version of the program?? my colleagues are really crying for it

we will definitely be doing a donation :)
many MANY thanks!!!!

I'm very interested to import .MXF Files too.
Is this fixed, is VTM able to process MXF files now?

Thanks!

Yes, you can find MXF checkbox in the list of available extensions again (F3, then the button on the right).
