The ability to Display the Number of Thumbnails per Sheet

My question is pretty simple and I hope that there is a simple answer that I am not seeing.

If not, I would like to submit this as a "suggested feature" to be added.

Along with my selected information about the video in the top heading, I would like to add the option of displaying the following stats as well:

1. The actual number of thumbnails produced for this video.
2. The actual compression percent used for that preview sheet.
3. My videos have an xmp file. In ACDSee, they are hidden, but follow the video in silence (and in explorer). Is it possible to "automatically" copy the metadata from the xmp to the thumbnail sheet jpg as part of the process?? Or even add the keywords to the heading with the above information? (merely, a bonus)

Sometimes I used the exact column/row option and sometimes I used the "step, sec" option, and my videos' durations are 30 seconds to 3 hours. I think this would also be helpful for those that design their own layout with a mixture of thumbnail sizes and animations.

Is this already available and I am missing it? Please help!

Where would you like to see that information? On thumbnail sheets or in VTM? What is the main benefits of seeing such information?

I will have a look to xmp files. I think it is possible to use metadata from them and add as a text string to thumbnail sheets.

You can use contruction set in VTM to design your own layouts, select Special Matrix radiobutton on Options window and then click on "Change" button on the right.

Next version of Videonizer will include extended file managment features.
You will be able to move video files to another locations and Videonizer will update existing VTX links (in screenlists) to that files automatically.

I assume the info would be placed in the caption with the rest of the optional data. By default, my files' contain the duration and dimensions. However, staring at a filename doesn't tell me if I over-compressed the preview sheet. Or if the quality is horrible, I don't know what compression level it was generated. When durations are long, I try to compress those a bit more and a bit less for shorter durations or videos not in HD. Hoping to bypass the long hit and miss process: if I know the compression %, I know where to start increasing or decreasing quality.

That would be awesome. Now, I have to manually place keywords, categories, etc on each file. I can copy/paste, but not every file in the series have identical data for searching purposes. Once I prepare a file, your software would be able to copy the xmp data, linked to my file, with the generated VTM sheet?

By default, I use the "step, sec" option, making the thumbnail count unknown when processing dozen of videos. I only change this when the video is too short, small dimensions, or VTM refuses to generate a sheet, for whatever reason. Customizing set the count in stone. By nature, longer durations need more thumbnails to avoid large gaps in scenes. The variables for count are how important is that clip? Is there a lot of change scenes/movement that needs to be identified? Are the quality and size too high/low for a certain count (making the file 5-10 mb)? How many files are in this series and is that going to create a folder with 200 mb of preview sheets? Just for example.

I will keep an eye out for the next Videonizer. I don't actively use it, but I tried it. That addition would be very significant.
