Hi!

I would like to add seekbar thumbnails to my online video player. I think these are called "sprites"!?!

Can I create such sprite images with "Thumbnail Maker"?

Hello,

Please provide more details, or examples.
I didn't get the question.

I figured it out. VTT files are used for these preview images in the player. And Video Thumbnail Maker is the perfect tool for generating such files and preview images. As a newbie, however, it wasn't that easy to figure out.

Video Thumbnail Maker doesn't support GPU decoding, does it?

VTM does support GPU decoding, why not?

I see no indication that VTM is using my Nvidia 4090 to generate images from the videos. Neither with Crystal nor any other engine.

In the task manager, I only see my CPU being used.

Have you tried to add 100+ files and click the Magic button in VTM?
You may also try to use MSI Afterburner to see more details (consider creating animations to see the effect).

I created 350 collages using the magic button. CPU is using about 80% (setting is 3/4) and GPU 0%

Do you have same appearance?
Please make sure you are using the Ultimate engine.
Can I have a screenshot of your case?

Another question is - are you on Virtual Machine?
Which NVidia driver version are you on?

Ultimate is enabled. It is fast but all graphs empty (GPU). But CPU is going up.

So, you have 2 video cards in your system, and it looks like VTM uses the first one.
I can change the algorithm to use the second (or the last) one in the list.
Meanwhile, a question — do you really need the CPU-embedded video card?
I would suggest disabling it in the BIOS, and that's it.
