Hi, I think Videonizer is a great piece of software for managing large video collections. But what I'm missing is a view with thumbnails/covers for browsing my video collection. I would like to be able to generate a website out of a database that can be run on a local webserver. This website should look like a free hosted gallery and the categorization should be adjustable eg. Genre/Actor, Site/Actor, Genre/Site etc.
I know this is a big feature that would take a long time to implement, so I wouldn't be mad if it would be sold seperateley. Since there are a lot of people that want that kind of eyecandy, such a feature could definiteley boost sales.
Feature Request: Cover/Thumbnails View
Hi.
Thank you for your post.
I thought about that opportunity before and I like the idea.
Of course it requires a lot of time to make it nice and smooth.
Maybe I will implement it in the future.
Currently you can hold ~ (Tilda) while hovering over an item to view a preview picture (thumbnail sheet or a picture) associated with this the item.
I integrated Videonizer and VTM to make thumbnail creation easier.
You can see a Demo on Youtube:
