Ability to change output file name

I'm trying to switch form auto movie thumbnailer but I'm missing two features one changing output file name and two is setting a timer I could have it run on. Is either of these possible?

you can change output filenames in VTM in different ways.
Just select files in the main list and use right mouse button context menu,
then "Naming scheme" -> 5 different options.
Also you can find incremental suffixes in Environment window.
Moreover, I am looking into the opportunity to allow to add custom suffix to output file in the next version of VTM.

The custom part is what I'm looking for. I want to add -Poster -Fanart -Landscape to thumbnails to create artwork for videos in kodi or emby.

Right now you can simply batch-rename the generated files with something like Lupas Rename or Bulk Rename Utility.
As for “setting a timer” I'm not sure exactly what you mean...
