[Request] add timeout for generating screenlists and animation

Hi
when prepossessing large amount of files (with some defective ones) vtm stuck in generating screenlists or animation.
and i need to close vtm remove the problematic file and start it again
so i need to baby seat the program (in command line )
which defeat the hole idea of a command line.
i suggest that their will be settings in vtm for timeout for generating screenlists and timeout for animation
(IE if it stuck in let say 19% more the 10 seconds -> skipp this file)
and if timeout riches then the file skipped and logged
(the default value should be disabled - no timeout)

Do you know what the reason it get stuck? Initially I thought it might be Duration too short, or file size too small but it seem to be something else.
Codec issue?

The file can be corrupted or not completely downloaded.

As expected. But media player nowaday can play corrupted file for the part they could download.

Is it possible VTM use the same technology or method that they use to generate?

Sometimes that is not impossible (mainly for mp4) or requires a lot of efforts.
Probably, I will improve that in the future, but not now.

I have implemented VTM v12.0.0.0 with an experimental "watchdog" for Ultimate engine. It should not allow the program to freeze while processing video files with defects. Please give it a try and provide a feedback on the function.
