Steps:

Open a .vtx file from a folder with many.
Navigate using PgDn.
Delete using Shift+Del (Thumbs + Video).

Result:

Viewer resets to the first .vtx file.

Desired result:

Viewer shows either the next or the previous .vtx file.

It was designed that way.
I can change the behaviour as you described.

Just checked the code.
The Viewer resets to your previous history file (not previously viewed, but the one you have started when entering current folder).

Behaviour has been changed in VTM 10.0.0.2.
Now the Viewer switches to previous picture in the same folder if possible.

Works! (But it seems to switch to the next, not the previous as you said - which is nice.)

Indeed, wrong description.
It moves to the next picture.

What would you prefer?
I can move to previous picture, if needed.

It's fine as it is.
