Probably bug: Timesteps below 1 second

Hi,
I like using the "Specific timestep" feature. However, I've noticed that when the value is less than 1 second (e.g., 0.5 seconds), the feature doesn't work properly. Although more thumbnails are generated as expected, they all end up looking the same. This is particularly noticeable when set to 0.1 seconds. I've tested this with several videos. The frame rate was, of course, high enough.
Seems to be a bug?
edit: Problem in both the Ultima and Crystal engines.

(I used a timer video and selected 0.1-second steps.)
