[feature request] divide frames to multiple files

Hello,
would it be possible to add another option into layout? Currently we have X*Y tiles, and I would have use for file separator, lets say Z (default 1)
output would be Z number of X*Y files, with time spawning from first tile of first file to the last tile of last file
currently only way to that is use specific time, manually divide whole time in tiles then play with step/start/stop
Why I am asking?
I was trying to create thumbnails from 25h long video, I wanted small steps and was limited by output resolution, so basically i was trying to create multiple files with 30 tiles each, was real chore to do with specific time settings, or is there a better way I missed?
Anyway, this could come handy, thank you.
