Support for HEVC (H.265)

I have some movies in Matroska containers that are encoded with the newest HEVC (H.265) and when I open them up in VTM (using the latest version 9.1.0.0) the program crashes. Is this codec supported and if not, will it be in future versions?

I should have been more specific. What I'm trying to do is capture frames manually using the first option.
When I load the video, right click on it and choose that option a wheel spins for a few seconds and then nothing happens. When I do the same thing with a clip in H264, the window for me to choose the frames opens and it works fine.

Choose shots manually works good too.
What codec packs are you using?
Recently, there was a similar report, a user had both CCCP and K-Lite codec packs installed.
He removed CCCP, reinstalled K-Lite and managed to work good with H.265.
In my case I have CCCP codec pack installed only.
