How to disable "automatic filename collision"?

Updated to v21.0.0.0

new: VTM prevents filename collisions automatically when the "Output folder" is set. VTM adds extra "_(COPY_0001)", "_(COPY_0002)", etc. suffixes when files with the same name are coming from different folders.
Is there a way to disable it?
I'd like (like previously done) that VTM overwrites existing old jpg files

I can add a Setting for that, but is it really needed?
That is only for the case when files from different folders are having the same names and you put all of it into a single output folder.

I have not set anything (see below) since I am fine with the default "near the video files", but it happens if VTM finds in the folder the old jpg

It looks like that old jpgs were generated by an older version of VTM.
Could you please check it only for the latest version of VTM?

Yes.
When VTM finds old jpg created by a previous version it creates COPY...jpg
When the "old" jpg is from the latest version, even if launched several times VTM does't create COPY...jpg

Can you live with that? Or the new Setting is highly requested?

I can live with it, but could you simply make it an optional choice?
Sometimes I rerun VTM on Folders where thumbnails were generated years ago and it is a nuisance to go and delete old jpg's before rerunning VTM

On the other hand that's what happens in some cases (is it a bug?)
When the "old" jpg is from the latest version, even if launched several times VTM does't create COPY...jpg
