Is it possible to desactivate the suffix "_slideshow" from .GIF files

Hello, I normally make large batch animations of videos with long file names. The fact that .gif files animations adds automatically a suffix (_slideshow) results in errors of conversion due to the exceed of characters in the resulting .gif file. Is it possible to desactivate the suffix "_slideshow" from .GIF files
