Hello,
I have some issue with WMI (no Serial displayed) in Videonizer and I've tried vain a lot of different things.... In Video Thumbnails Maker a serial is displayed. As I have already a Silver Licence for Video Thumbnails Maker can I use the same Serial to buy a Gold Licence of Videonizer?
thx.
WMI issue
Hello,
You need to get WMI working first.
It is on the same PC? It is extremely strange, that VTM shows the Serial while Videonizer is not.
I've never heard about such a case.
It could be a privilege issue when you use different users to run the application. Please try to run the Videonizer "As administrator" and check the Serial.
You can also try to reset Windows WMI repository:
1. Press Windows+Q and type cmd into the search bar that pops up.
2. Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator.
3. Type net stop winmgmt into the command prompt and press enter.
4. When prompted if you wish to continue, type Y and press enter.
5. Type winmgmt /resetrepository into the command prompt and press enter.
6. Restart your computer to pick up the changes.

Hello,
I confirm its a virtuell machine (Win 11 Home) runs on Parallels Desktop on a Mac. I just installed a new clean Win 11 VM and have installed VTM and Videonizer. For VTM the serial key is displayed and for Videonizer its not. So its the same as on my productive system. Seems something different for the WMI services on both tools.
