Need some help please :)

I have about 1,000 videos I'm trying to create Screenlists and WebP files for, and on about 50% of them, I get his message in the log:

Code: Select all

[INFO] [8:25:35 PM] Program is started (x64)
[INFO] [8:25:35 PM] Video card detected: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090
[00106652] [Video-210.mp4] [INFO] [8:25:36 PM] [ULTIMATE] File 1: [X:\Catalog\Video-210.mp4]
[00106652] [Video-210.mp4][DEBUG] [8:25:47 PM] [ULTIMATE] .... Can't encode WebP
I assume this is the encoding of some of my video files (videos are 99% MP4 files) that PTM can't handle? When this happens, it does not generate a .WebP file, but it does generate a VTX file. Unfortunately, the resulting VTX file is just black (when the WebP file can't be encoded), even though it appears to generate correctly. So, I have to turn animation off, and regenerate the VTX file to get a usable screenlist.

I've tried processing just a single file, very simple 4 pane matrix, very simple 1 second animation, using Start vs Magic, etc... but about half of my files won't generate the correct VTX + WebP file.

Any ideas, settings I can change, etc?

Thanks!

Solved. This was my fault. The large matrices I was generating were from 5K video and they were just too big for VTM. Changing from original size to a smaller width solves the issue.
