Every time I click on the cross to delete from the list, this error box will show up. I don't know what it is but it doesn't look like to be something normal

According to your screenshot, your database file is read only.
That should not be. Could you please locate the database file and make sure it is not marked as read-only?

Another version - that database file could be created by another user (account) and you just have no permissions to write into it.
