I just ran the upgrade to the 11.3.0.0 release and immediately after the install I received a notice:
Sorry. Free version is limited to 100 items.
I've had a paid license for a while now and was in the app using it shortly before updating. It looks like moving the default install directory to "C:\Program Files\" with the new release is going to cause quite a bit of problems.
Bug? Upgrade to 11.3.0.0 removed license
I did the standard update from the app and let it install to the default directory. It looks like it didn't move the activation key automatically during the upgrade. I manually downloaded it and saved it to the new folder and it works so my serial key stayed the same.
Hi,
same problem here.
After the 11.3.0.0 installation the licence was deleted so I moved a backup copy of the activation key file to the program folder.
The registration button now shows the "silver".
Unfortunately, when I try to open my database I receive the prompt "Sorry, free version is limited to 100 items".
Thanks.

Hello,
1) Installer/Uninstaller tools know nothing about activation key files. They do not delete them.
If you are missing an activation key file in the previous location - you either are checking the wrong folder, or deleted it by yourself.
2) Your Serial can change only after hardware platform changes.
3) Probably, the installer should check for an exisitng installation and suggest the same path instead of the default one (C:\Program Files...) to avoid confusion.
But I would really like everybody to move to C:\Program Files...
To summarize,
just put the actual activation key file into the actual installation folder.

What you mean it was deleted? It remained in the old directory (AppData\Local) for me.
In fact I had to manually uninstall the old version, which also deleted the desktop icon and start menu items of the new installation, so I had to reinstall it twice...
Hi,
the problem is still present.
The keyfile is in the correct program folder. The serial code provided by the software is the same provided at the time of the licence (no HW upgrades indeed).
The software is reading correcly the keyfile and the "silver" licence is present on the registration button. When I try to open my usual DB, the program is prompting the "100 items limit" and does not load the DB. I already tried to uninstall everything, and I double checked the correct folder use as you pointed out, but with any positive result.
Hope this helps to find a solution.
Thanks.
