At your suggestion, I removed the non-ASCII characters and ran the program via the CLI again. It worked fine and produced the output I want.

Hello. I recently starting using the command-line version of VTM to grab screenshots from videos. When I use the GUI, the program works. However, when I use the CLI, I get this output from the terminal. ("\\path\to\file.ext" is the full path and filename to the video.) Device is not ready ...
