Hi,

I'd like to know, is there any way to run multiple instances of Video Thumbnails Maker?

I'd like to have one copy running (perhaps at a low/background process priority) to generate thumbnails of files stored on a NAS box, while simultaneously having a second copy running to generate thumbnails of another local folder on DVD-ROM or hard disk. Ideally, I'd be able to set different configurations for each (e.g. set "output folder" to "the same" for one and a specific folder for the other).

But I've found I cannot launch a second instance while one is already running, either from the Start menu or from the icon on the Taskbar in Windows 7.

Is this at all possible?

Hi.
Currently only one instance is allowed.
Maybe I will add this feature as an option to future releases.
I have not decided yet.

A little add-on.
Currenlty (in version 7.1.0.0) you can run multiple console instances of the application as well as one GUI instance.
Each console instance uses common Environment settings, which are stored in Windows registry file.
Currenlty (in version 7.1.0.0) console instances run until the job is done and can only be stopped by killing them in process list.

Yes, I'm sure it would be very good.
