Hi,

Will take into account.
Thank you for your request.

Please note: cache size will be increased significantly.
That could be a show-stopper, need to check.

Hi
cover art picture native size are ~ 800 x 540 pixels (DVD box cover opened) approximately 2.5 x 2.5 now biggest tiles
also the pictures slideshow will be much clearer in this size
no need to change font size or any icons size.
using maximum space possible for the picture (slide show pictures) is smart.
Their is much space wasted in the every tile for horizontal spacing and horizontal page merging (left and right).
(window size recomended will hold 3 x 2 tiles in this size)
also when using it on big screen TV makes this software usable with less stress on the eyes.

this will be a major improvement

Thanks for considering

PS
About the cash size. a simple warning to the user will be OK
I have fast and big SSD disks for the cash.
were is the cash located?

Cache file is located on disk C, in user's AppData folder.

The current estimation of Cache file size (with 4K Tiles) for 2400 video files is 2Gb.

Grate
Many thanks
But from what I see native cover art size is 800 x 536-600
I am afraid that this dimension differences will deforms the picture (536 -> 450)

Please reduce wasted spaces as much as possible (mainly horizontal spaces and margins).
and give one more window size if possible (between Maximize and current size)
This will be amazing.
Waiting for it

The current aspect ratio for Tiles is 16:9.
Your DVD-covers request is most likely 3:2.

As an option, I can let you to choose which aspect ratio to use for Tiles in Settings. Need to check.

You can use "VIEW mode" to reduce spaces and margind as much as possible.

Hi

why the tile should be 16:9 ? I am not relay viewing the video in the tile.

in most cases I am not preview it at all.
It seems to me that the most important thing is the cover art.
this is the movie object that I see all the time in all videos. it summarize most effectively the content of the movie.
in time seeing the cover art is enough to recognize the movie.
that is why the tile should be in aspect ratio of the cover art. (and not the movie were it is 16:9 or 4:3 or cellphone shoot)
for better use of space with slide show it will be grate if the screenshot that we create will be in the same dimensions as the tile

As I measured
with the biggest Tiles In horizontal aspect (4K monitor).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tiles 379/224
Cover Art 309/204
Slide show images 367/204
by the way there is NO horizontal space wasted in the tile when in slide show
in small (not maximized) window there is three tiles (total width of 309*3=927) the space available until scrollbar 1246 -> you can make them a lot bigger using this blank space

Hi,

Ok, your point of view is clear.
I will try to add a Setting for you, You will be able to select 3:2 in Settings.

From my point of view most users will not use covers. That is why the default aspect ratio is 16:9.

Also I will check the spacing.
