Hi, I wanted to test videonizer 3.0.0.4, but it won't even start. I got the same crash on Windows 10 as reported here before. A file named "newVideonizerDB.db3" is created in the program folder and then the program crahes.

NET Framework 4.6 is installed, programm folder and database folder have full rights, non of the files is read-only. There's only one user account on my system.

Windows event log reports error in C:\WINDOWS\System32\KERNELBASE.dll and System.ArgumentNullException.

Any idea?

Hello.

Have you enabled natural sorting in Settings before the crash?
Could you please share your database file (send me a private message)?

Thank you for cooperation.

The reason is in Natural Sorting.
I already fixed that bug in Videonizer v4.0.0.0.
As a temporary solution you can disable Natural Sorting by opening regedit

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SUU Design\Videonizer\Settings
and change naturalSortOrder value from True to False.

Sorry for that issue.

Thanks for your quick reply! Unfortunatly there must be another issue. The registry-value for naturalSortOrder already has been "False" :(

Maybe it might be worth a try to test an earlier version?

I also have the same problem crashes on startup.

It asks for a database after installing then crashes after nominating a database. :?

The key is set to false as previously suggested

Any ideas :?:

Could you please post everything related to the issue here?
Crash log file, video of the process, registry export, screenshots, whatever you can provide.
BTW your database opened fine on my PC with naturalSortOrder = False on Videonizer version 3.0.0.4.
